This ancient proverb is validated by the many examples of ladies like Ruth, Zipporah, Deborah, Esther and many other described in the bible that did great exploits for the Lord when an opportunity arose. We believe that when girls/women are given an opportunity and provided with the same resources given to boys/men they can do great exploits for God and the kingdom. This is not in any way demeaning or suggesting that God cannot and does not work through men.
